Yoko Matsumoto is a textile artist and works primarily with weaving and repetitive folding technique with plant-dyed materials. Her works of art express the worldly desires of human being and the conditions of life. She finds aesthetics in obsolete and withered objects, which create characteristic beauty and originality.
